Iwata Houraiya has been working with artisans of consummate skill on the manufacture, restoration, and spatial design of Buddhist altar fittings and statues. Their wooden shelf, enhancing the powerful expression of wood itself and their special lacquer techniques, showcase the beauty of wood grain and the shimmer of fine lacquerwork.
