中源 NAKAGEN
初代より130年以上にわたり日本の伝統建築に欠かせない北山杉を製造。2015年〜仏人デザイナーGarnier&Linkerと家具ブランド「KITAYAMA COLLECTION」を立上げ、新たな北山杉の領域を開拓しています。本事業では忠伸工芸と共同で北山杉の家具を開発しました。
Nakagen has been delivering Kitayama cedar, an indispensable material in traditional Japanese architecture, to the world for over 130 years since its establishment. They established furniture brand, Kitayama Collection, with Garnier&Linker, French designer. In this project, together with Chushin Kougei, they produced new furniture made of Kitayama Cedar.
